Grow Your Own Cut Flowers Workshop

Location: Cross Street Flower Farm, on Cross Street, Norwell

Join Nikki and Cara for the first workshop of the year! This class is appropriate for both beginners and intermediate gardeners. We will focus on getting a good start to the season and starting your own cut flower garden.  

For beginners, we will guide you through the basics of creating your very own small-scale cutting garden in your backyard.  For intermediate growers, we will dig deep on how we grow three of our most productive and important flower crops - Zinnias, Cosmos, Snapdragons. We will discuss how we succession plant for a continuous supply all flowers all summer long. Bring all of your burning cut flower questions. We can’t wait to see you there!

Be sure to dress comfortably and for the weather. Class is located in the fields at our farm and in our unheated barn.
