We will guide you through the basics of creating your very own small-scale cutting garden in your backyard. This workshop series is good for novice as well as intermediate gardeners, we will cover the basics and dig deep into all things cut flowers.
Wear your gardening clothes and get ready to get your hands in the dirt. This class is hands-on. You will learn how to transplant seedlings, and we will demonstrate how to set up a low-maintenance cutting garden.

Day1 :
We will teach simple and fail-proof seed-starting methods, tools, and supplies. We will go over how to grow our most prolific annual cut flower varieties from seed to harvest, including our early summer blooms such as bachelor buttons, larkspur, pincushion flower, snapdragons, Chinese forget-me-nots, and our best performing high-summer annuals including zinnias, sunflowers, cosmos, celosia, globe amaranth, statice, grasses and more!
Next, we will move outside and guide you through the basics of creating your very own small-scale cutting garden in your backyard. We will focus on:
Day 2:
Grow Your Own Dahlias -In this class, we will teach you everything you need to know to grow, divide, propagate, and store your dahlias like a pro-flower farmer.
